English: Location and neighbourhood: The apartment is located in Inselstrasse in Berlin-Mitte, the most central district of Berlin. The area is called “diplomat quartier“ because there are many embassies and the foreign office in the neighbourhood. The Humboldt Forum (Berlin Palace), the Nicolai quartier, the boulevard "Unter den Linden" and the famous "Museums' Island" are in 10 minutes walking distance. The area is calm, green and safe. Very close (200 m) is a park (Koellnischer Park) with a museum (Märkisches Museum) and the river Spree inviting to walks along the beautiful riverside through the centre of Berlin. There are nice restaurants and cafés in the neighbourhood as well as as supermarkets, a newsstand, a post office, flower shops. The apartment is excellently connected to the public transport network by two underground stations, one S-Bahn station and several bus lines, one of which (Bus 147) goes directly to the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof), underground and S-Bahn station Friedrichstrasse, Unter den Linden and the Berlin Palace.
